Adco Mefenamic Acid Capsules are a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory (NSAID) medication used to:
- Treat pain and inflammation associated with menstrual cramps (dysmenorrhea)
- Relieve pain and reduce inflammation in conditions such as arthritis, sprains, and strains
 
The active ingredient, mefenamic acid, works by:
- Reducing the production of prostaglandins, which cause pain and inflammation
- Blocking the action of enzymes that contribute to inflammation
